Ltg meetings

LTG meetings | list of dates | reports | previous meetings

Meetings are held at regular intervals (5 times) each year and are open to all paid members of the LTG. Guests can attend for free when accompanied by a full member but any subsequent attendance is chargeable. The current annual membership fee is £10 payable by 31 st January. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each December.

Meetings are a mixture of scientific content and informal social gathering, in order to facilitate an exchange of ideas between analytical toxicologists or those interested in our area of science. In general, meetings are between 12:30 and 17:00 and are presently held at the Linnean Society, Piccadilly, London. See the “Location.pdf” for further details. In some circumstances special meetings may be held elsewhere but the location link will reflect this. Irrespective of the location, the “Agenda” for the next meeting of the LTG can be downloaded as a pdf file.

The LTG also encourages Corporate Members to support the meetings by covering some of the costs. This allows the sponsor to present a 20 minute talk at the beginning of the meeting about a relevant company product/application. The sponsor is also able to bring up to 3 representatives to the meeting – please wear your corporate name badges. The “reports” page provides links to various meeting reports or associated material for any LTG or non-LTG related meeting that may be of interest to the Group. All reports, etc are members only.

The “previous meetings” section allows members only access to any documentation relating to a particular meeting, including the meeting minutes.

A formal agenda is issued before all LTG meetings.
