Postgraduate Courses in Forensics in Bournemouth

Several Forensic Science courses are now being offered by Bournemouth University. These include MSc Forensic Archaeology: Crime Scene & International Investigations, MSc Forensic & Biological Anthropology, MSc Forensic Toxicology by Research, and MSc Recovery & Identification of Human Remains. All courses are fully supported by the wide range of technical and scientific facilities available within the School of Conservation Sciences. In addition, there is an on-campus ‘crime house’ with a purpose designed lab and cctv monitoring for ‘criminalistics’. Please see the attached file for further information.

MSc Analytical Toxicology, Kings College London

A new MSc in Analytical Toxicology is due to be launched by Kings College London in September 2009 (Subject to approval). The course is designed for individuals who wish to develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of analytical toxicology. It will include a large practical element using up to date chromatographic techniques to identify and quantify drugs of abuse and their metabolites in sample types relevant to clinical toxicology.

The programme as a whole will be of greatest benefit to those engaged in the professional practice of Analytical Toxicology.
